The clinician portal is free during the pilot. We will tell you in advance before that changes, and nothing is ever charged automatically.
Test walkthrough with sample data. This is a limited example. Real client pages can show more history, patterns and risk information when the client chooses to share it and data is available.
Follow the cursor through the client list and one shared page: how fresh the data is and what it covers, right now and this week, then the same Patterns, Finances and Behavior tabs the client sees in the app. Weekly bars rise against the goal the client set, the day-by-hour grid fills in with their riskiest hours outlined, and clicking a bar, a square or one of those hours opens its details. The screening card shows the change from the first score, and each screening can be opened. All names and figures in the clip are examples.
Activity from the sportsbooks your client connects, with how fresh it is.
Client-controlled, read-only sharing they can end at any time.
Support between visits. Not treatment, and not monitoring.
Bring sportsbook-sourced trends into your conversations. Review changes between visits, explore patterns together, and see the support plans your client chose.

Free during the pilot
Up to 40 clients in any 30 days for each verified practice. How the pilot works
They choose each section separately. Portal access never unlocks more of a client's data.
A simple on-track or harder-week summary, without numbers.
Betting totals, spending trends, charts, the weekly plan or streak, goals and behavior patterns.
Their estimated riskiest hours, what their heads-ups offer, and their last 10 heads-ups: what they chose and whether a bet followed.
Gambling-severity questionnaires, including the answer to each question, and recorded lapse or relapse episodes. Not a diagnosis.
Sharing is optional, client-controlled and read-only. Your client can narrow it or end it at any time, without notice to you. Les conversations, raw bet slips, and crisis flags are never shared. Betting figures come from connected sportsbooks only, and every page shows how fresh that data is. A quiet record is not proof of abstinence. Goals and questionnaire answers come from the client.
Your client picks a weekly number while clear-headed. Lessen shows how much room is left and sends a heads-up before their usual busy hours.
In Lessen Mode the client picks a weekly number to stay under, in dollars or in bets. Lessen shows how much room is left. In Quit Mode, it counts the days since the last bet.
The client can change their plan at any time. Lessen shows the real numbers. It does not stop a bet.
Lessen cannot block apps, freeze an account, place bets or move money. Deposit limits at the sportsbook are the hard stop, and Lessen's protection plan walks clients through setting them.
Before their usual busy hours, the client gets a heads-up with their real numbers and a few choices for right now. Each week they can look back at how it went.
Lessen checks connected sportsbooks throughout the day. A new bet usually shows up within a few hours, not right away.
Limits, stated plainly.
Sharing is optional, client-controlled and read-only. Your client can end it at any time, without notice to you.
A page shows activity from the sportsbooks your client connected, with how fresh the data is. A quiet record is not proof of abstinence.
Lessen is not a monitoring service and not an emergency service. You are not alerted in real time, and you are not expected to respond through Lessen.
Clinical effectiveness has not been established. Lessen does not diagnose or treat, and it does not replace your care.
Riskiest hours are estimated from the client's own past bets. Lessen does not know a future bet will happen, and a change in someone's record does not prove Lessen caused it.
Lessen is evidence-informed. Its tools are built on published research on money, habits and betting. Lessen itself has not been studied in a trial, and clinical effectiveness has not been established.
The free Leak Finder shows a client what betting costs them and where they could save, in about two minutes, with no app account. Use it at intake or hand the link to a client the moment betting comes up.
The client gets Lessen (on Google Play now, iPhone coming soon) and connects their own supported sportsbooks. Read-only, through a separate connection layer. Lessen never holds their login and can't touch money. How Lessen handles data
The client's data stays the client's. They bring the app to session, or share a page with you. Seeing several clients? The portal puts everyone who shared with you behind one login. Either way you both work from the same sportsbook-sourced record, for the books the client connected.
As the treatment goal moves. Harm reduction to abstinence, or the reverse. The app's mode moves with it, and the numbers keep their meaning. Escalation stays yours. The app names when a counselor is the right call.
The pilot is clinician-led and small on purpose. You see the product first, then decide whether it suits any of your clients.
Review the product in a short walkthrough.
Together we confirm client fit, supported sportsbook connections and the pilot terms.
Offer Lessen to two suitable, consenting adults aged 21 or over. Each one decides whether to use it, and whether to share anything with you.
Lessen handles product setup and support for your clients.
You review what the client chose to share, inside the way you already work.
We collect your feedback on usability, usefulness and whether to continue.
No referral fees in either direction. No obligation to continue. Client consent controls every shared page. Please do not email patient information.
These are two separate things. Your portal access is one. Your client's app subscription is the other, and they choose what you can see.
For you
Freeduring the pilot
The clinician portal is free during the pilot. We will tell you in advance before that changes, and nothing is ever charged automatically.
One practice shares one allowance across staff: up to 40 clients in any 30 days during the pilot. Reading an individual shared client page is free.
Each distinct client opened in the past 30 days uses one place across the practice. Opening them again renews that 30-day window. Unopened invitations use no places.
For your client, after a 7-day free trial
$14.99a month
7-day free trial, then $14.99 a month for one sportsbook (billed monthly, about 50¢ a day), or $119.99 a year. Extra sportsbooks $4.99 a month each, up to 3 in total. The client pays through Google Play now, or the App Store once Lessen is on iPhone, and can cancel any time.
Sharing with you is optional and adds nothing to what the client pays.
Lessen is a behavior-change tool, not a medical device, and it isn't a crisis service. Clinical effectiveness has not been established. How Lessen handles data
Treatment programs, group homes, university counseling centers and employee-assistance programs can sponsor or support distribution later. Today the pilot is clinician-led.
No aggregate dashboards of member behavior. Each member's data stays their own, same as every other Lessen account. No referral fee in either direction.
